All of our partners are carefully selected General Distributors and Dealers of Daimler products, ranging from light commercial vehicles to heavy-duty trucks, for a specified country or market territory. Our network is currently covering 16 markets and being represented by 17 business partners at 34 locations, varying from mid- to large-scale enterprises, and is continually growing. Only within the last ten years, Daimler was able to expand its Distribution Network in the Middle East and North Africa region by 100% in doubling the locations from 17 to 34, in order to meet our customer needs & provide them with the most convenient service solutions. This is why we have created the Key Account Manager position, which represents the single point of contact to the Daimler network. It is the job of the Key Account Manager to know everything about the fleet and to provide each customer with personalized offers including but not limiting to fleet checks, special discount grids, driver training, parts consignment, mobile workshop and any other solution that best fits the customer needs. One of the most important factors in the transport cycle is, of course, the driver. At Daimler we understand the need for highly trained drivers and so we provide, through our General Distributors, the necessary training to fully support your fleets. Driver training courses are organised in order to ensure that the drivers are aware of the appropriate usage of their Commercial Vehicles. Furthermore, drivers learn the full advantages of all the technologies embedded in the vehicle. A professional driver will be able to use the vehicle in a more economical and safe manner, hence lowering the maintenance costs of the fleet. Fleet checks
All fleet owners share a common goal: timely deliveries and trouble-free trips at the lowest possible cost. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is one of the main indicators, so expert knowledge of the fleet’s maintenance and repair needs is crucial in scheduling fleet activity.
Workshop expertise is very important. That is why the Daimler network works hard to ensure that the know-how in the workshop meets the high standards of the vehicle – no matter if it is a network-owned workshop or a workshop owned by one of our fleet customers. Our authorised workshops perform regular fleet checks at the customer’s location. A team of certified and experienced technicians, supported by technicians from the factory in Germany and equipped with a mobile workshop, visit the customer’s location to perform inspections on site. Full vehicle reports are provided to the customer after each inspection.

Sometimes our fleet customers operate in a remote area, far away from our established Daimler network. In order to support them, Daimler developed the Mobile Workshop concept and the OSPS (on site parts stock) concept. This way, the network can support remote customers by placing teams of certified mechanics in the desired location together with relevant Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts stock. As a result, the fleet is perfectly maintained at the best value for money.
